Our CAVE staff nominated Brooklyn as our May High School Student of the Month for a number of reasons. Brooklyn has worked very hard since joining our program. Her assignments are done very well. She is organized and a pleasure to work with.

Brooklyn is a dancer at the Diamond School of Dance. She is a part of their competitive team. After high school, Brooklyn plans to go onto a Dance school, and become a dancer and/or dance teacher.

When asked what Brooklyn likes best about our CAVE program, she stated that she can fit her studies around her busy schedule. Her favorite class is Biology because she finds science interesting and she enjoys the labs that she gets to do.

Brooklyn's advice to new students is to keep your calendar organized. She stated it is easy to become unorganized, since her schedule is always full. When she writes things down, it is much easier to remember and get things done easier.

Our CAVE staff nominated Elijah as our May Middle School Student of the Month because he keeps improving in his studies. He is strong minded and when he is determined to do something, he does it.

Elijah likes to play outside, play with animals and go for a hike.

When asked what he likes best about our CAVE program he stated that he likes to be able to work at his own pace, which is really helpful for him. He likes to be able to take breaks when needed. Elijah's favorite class is Science. Science is both fun and easy for him.

Some advice for those interested in joining the CAVE program, Elijah mentioned that it is good to take good notes and get used to using the computer right away.

Elijah hopes to get a good job and make some good money after high school He may go to college, depending upon what he would like to go into.
