HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE MONTH

April 2021 - Joey F.

Our CAVE staff nominated Joey F. because of how well he has improved this year to get all of his work done. Joey is truly a go-getter. He is a solid student who got better with age.

Joey loves farming. His favorite hobby is driving farm equipment, which he spends a lot of time doing.

When asked what he likes most about our CAVE program he likes the fact that you can work on your own pace and you can earn credit in Work Study, which is his favorite class.

Joey spends a lot of time on his family farm, and much of the work is seasonal, which makes our program fit his work schedule.

After high school, Joey wants to continue farming.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE MONTH

April 2021 - Cadance B.

Our CAVE staff nominated Cadance B. as our Middle School Student of the Month because she has impressed our staff by her positive attitude and how well she adapted to her classes this year. She is fun to work with and easy to talk to. She also does well keeping up in all of her classes.

Cadance likes to dance, shoot archery and crafting. Some of her artwork is displayed above.

When asked what she likes most about our CAVE program, she states that she likes the ability to get done early. Her favorite class is Language Arts because she likes reading.

Being her first year in CAVE, her advice to new students is to try and get ahead. When asked what she would like to do after high school, Cadance stated that she would like to make music.
