Our CAVE staff nominated Nola (Finola) as our January High School Student of the Month because she has been wonderful to work with. She is working at an accelerated pace, she gets her work done early and excels on her assignments. She is a true joy to work with.

Nola has many hobbies. She loves music and enjoys playing the oboe. In fact she played it for our first ever CAVE Holiday Concert. Nola also plays the english horn, flute, ukulele and piano. She also loves drawing. Two of her portraits are shown above. She likes drawing portraits of people, often actors and actresses. Nola also likes hanging out with her family and pets. She has two chinchillas and three cats!

Nola's advice for new students coming into CAVE is to take lots of notes and just do your best.

After high school, Nola plans on going to college and hopes to play the oboe professionally. She sure has the drive and talent to do so.

Our CAVE staff nominated Sarah F. as our January Middle School Student of the Month because she asks interesting questions, she works hard in all of her classes, and she always improves in her studies. Staff also mention that they enjoy meeting with her online.

Sarah loves riding horses. She also enjoys working on the farm and spending time with her cows. Like most country girls, she likes to play on the swings.
