Our CAVE staff nominated Bailey H. as our High School Student of the Month because she is always prepared for her DBAs and likes to work ahead in her classes. Bailey has a bright, happy personality that is infectious. The staff loves working with Bailey because of it.

Bailey enjoys painting and dancing. She is on the Cameron High School Dance team.

Our CAVE staff nominated Miriam T. as our Middle School Student of the Month because she has improved so much this year. Starting off in virtual school is not often very easy, but Miriam "stick with it-ness" and hard work is paying off.

Miriam enjoys art. She likes to sketch with pencils. She also enjoys painting and painted her parents a picture of their cats and dogs for Christmas.

Miriam likes how CAVE is more organized than her other school, especially when they went to virtual school in the Spring. Miriam's favorite class is Math. She likes Math because her teacher is very patient and the schedule for doing assignments is very flexible.

When asked what advice she would give to a student coming into CAVE, she stated to "Never get behind, and if you can, work ahead." School becomes very difficult if you get a few assignments behind. When asked what she likes most about CAVE, she stated that she doesn't have to wake up at 6:30 a.m. like she did going to her old school.

After high school Miriam would like to go to college to become a therapist. She likes to listen to people's problems and help them. Some people just need someone to talk to and she would like to be that someone.
