HS - MS STUDENT OF THE MONTH

May 2019 - Lavinia T.

Our CAVE staff nominated Lavinia as our High School - Middle School Student of the Month because she is always happy, works hard, and is a pleasure to have in our classes.

Lavinia loves to draw, play the ukulele, taking pictures, and sports like volleyball. She has a lot of talent that she has demonstrated in our Photography Club.

When asked what she likes most about our CAVE program, she stated "It's the teachers. They are always there to help me and they are always so nice."

Lavinia's favorite classes are Digital Photography and Forensic Science. She loves Digital Photography because the tools and information taught are easy to learn and are very interesting. Lavinia likes to learn about anthropology, forged documents, toxicology as well as other parts of her Forensic Science class.

Her advice to students interested in CAVE is to work hard, don't procrastinate, and have fun because the classes are interesting and fun.

When Lavinia graduates high school, she would like to be a photographer. She wanted to become one for a long as she can remember. She likes the fact that you can take and remember it forever through a photo .

We are proud of you Lavinia. Thank you for choosing CAVE.

ES STUDENT OF THE MONTH

May 2019 - Warrick R.

Our CAVE staff nominated Warrik as our Elementary School Student of the Month. Warrik's teacher nominated him because he is inquisitive, he asks great questions, and he loves to learn.

Warrick loves to swim, coding and gaming. Warrick is on a swim team at his area's YMCA. Warrick is also involved with Awana at church and 4-H.

Warrick's favorite class is Math. He excels at it. He likes CAVE because you can work ahead and you can sleep in if you like.

His advice to students interested in CAVE is that it is fun, and you can join clubs like Science Club and Photography Club. Clubs allow you to get to know other kids. He also likes the pre-test pool party, the fall and spring picnics and the Kalahari water park day because you get to see your friends there.

Warrick has two Glow-fish. He would like to visit the Mustard Capital in Wisconsin (Middleton) because he just found out that it exists and because it does not cost any money to go through it. Warrick would like to be a coder / computer programmer when he grows up.

We are proud of you Warrick! Keep up the good work!
