HS - MS STUDENT OF THE MONTH

January 2019 - Amber S.

Our CAVE staff nominated Amber as our High School - Middle School Student of the Month because of she is hard working, she asks great questions and is fun to work with.

Amber likes to find little critters (especially amphibians). She is not a big fan of spiders though. Amber plays french horn at her local high school band as well as the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra. Amber also finds time to take piano lessons. She is a music trivia nut!

Besides being musically gifted, Amber loves playing soccer, swimming and being outdoors. She loves reading and her favorite series is Harry Potter.

When asked what she likes most about our CAVE program, Amber stated that she likes the "flexibility and the patience of the teachers. I really like that the teachers truly want you to succeed and will help you!"

Amber likes classes where you can have some creative freedom as well as discover new things. She stated that "English, Social Studies and Science are all high on her list" of favorite classes.

Her advice to new students is to work hard and ask questions.

Amber is not sure what she wants to do after high school. She enjoys working with her microscope, music and finding critters. She will wait and see where that leads her.

We are proud of you Amber. Thank you for choosing CAVE.
