Our CAVE staff nominated Emilie as our High School Student of the Month because she does her work on time, she asks good questions, she cares about her learning and she is a joy to work with.
Our CAVE staff nominated Emilie as our High School Student of the Month because she does her work on time, she asks good questions, she cares about her learning and she is a joy to work with.
Emilie is a freshman who has been in our program for a while. She is a figure skater for the Eau Claire Figure Skating Club, where she has been skating for 9 years now. She is also a member of the Golden Edge Synchronized Figure Skating group. This is where you skate with a group of people instead of by yourself. She gets to meet and join her friends and compete in events that are out of state.

Besides skating, Emilie enjoys spending time with family and friends. With her best friend, she likes to go on bike rides in the summer as well as pull a few all-nighters when they can. She also comes a long to a few of Emilie's competition to help cheer her on.

Emilie's family like to vacation around the U.S.. They have visited Lake Tahoe and San Francisco in California, as well as places in Colorado, Utah and Florida.

When asked what she likes about CAVE, Emilie stated that she likes Science and English. Some advice to students interested in our CAVE program, she stated that you should try different subjects, even if they might not be classes that you think you would enjoy. You just might!

After high school Emilie would like to become either a veterinarian or a game warden.

Our CAVE staff nominated Abellah as our December Middle School Student of the Month because she goes the extra mile and truly wants to learn. She is fun, happy and seems to have a lot of energy. She is a joy to work with.

Abellah likes to rollerblade, building things out of Legos, cooking, baking, making slime and playing with her brother.

One of the things that she likes best about our CAVE program is that it teaches you responsibility and helps you stay organized. Here favorite class is Science. She enjoys when we get to do hands on labs! Math would be next to to liking how each lesson is laid out for you, step by step.

Some advice that she would give someone interested in CAVE is to "Stay on track!" and don't fall behind. If you like learning at your own speed even though you have deadlines for assignments, CAVE is for you.

Even though she is only in 6th grade, Abellah wants to go to college to become an Ultrasound Technician.
