MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE MONTH

January 2020 - Nettle S.

Our CAVE staff nominated Nettle S. as our Middle School Student of the Month. Nettle does a wonderful job in her classes. Her teachers stated that she is very creative. She also assists her young siblings when they are learning as well as keep them on task. Nettle works hard in her math and she is well prepared for her weekly meetings. Her English teacher stated that she is excited about reading.

Her favorite class is History. Nettle stated that she likes that there is not a set time to do each class, so she can spend time working on each one as much as she wants.

Nettle enjoys playing soccer. Nettle also states that she really enjoys our events like Spirit Week and our All-School Picnics.

Her advice to students looking to join C.A.V.E. is to make sure you get done what needs to get done. It is much easier to stay up on things rather than have to work hard to catch up.

Nettle stated that after she graduates high school, she wants to use a gap-year and travel somewhere before going off to college.

Congratulations Nettle! We are proud of you!
