HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE MONTH

October 2019 - Eva N.

Our CAVE staff nominated Eva as our High School Student of the Month because Eva works hard, she is prompt for meetings, she asks good questions and she wants to work ahead.

Eva likes to play soccer, she is involved in dance, she likes to play video games and skateboarding. Eva also likes to write.

Eva's favorite class is Science Fiction, taught by Mrs. Roll. When asked what she likes most about our C.A.V.E. program, Eva responded that she likes the flexibility. Eva's advice to other students is to "Keep in contact with your teachers and make sure you ask them questions. Even though you might not think you need it, help from teachers might be the very thing that helps you pass a class!"

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE MONTH

October 2019 - Lilah D.

Our CAVE staff nominated Lilah as our Middle School Student of the Month. Lilah's teacher nominated her because she has a good work ethic, especially in Math class. She shares thoughtful ideas in her English class and is well prepared and motivated.

Lilah is currently in 6th grade. Her favorite subject is Science. She states that she "loves learning about different cool things, and of course, learning more about animals."

Lilah LOVES animals. She has two dogs. Lola is a Goldendoodle and Oliver is an Aussiedoodle. Lilah also has three bunnies, Harvey, Hank and Hector as well as two fish, Berry and Cherry-Berry.

Lilah likes to do gymnastics, dance horse-back riding, ice skating, playing basketball and looming. She has made about a hundred creatures on the loom.

Lilah and her family loves going on vacations and exploring different National parks. They recently went to Yellowstone.

When Lilah graduates high school, she wants to be a dolphin trainer at some kind of aquarium.
