STUDENT OF THE MONTH

May 2018 is Hazel E.

CAVE staff nominated Hazel because she always checks in with her teachers when she has a question. She is very respectful and she is a great communicator. She works hard, has a great attention to detail and she handles school like a champ.

Hazel loves her cat Marbles and playing the mandolin. She also loves hunting, playing sports and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite food is brownies.

The main thing that Hazel really likes about CAVE are the teachers. Hazel stated "They are so kind and they are always willing to help." Hazel's favorite class this year is Science because the things that she learns really fascinates her.

For students who may want to come to the CAVE program, Hazel said "I have learned so much from coming to CAVE, I love the program and the teachers are all super nice." Her advice is to any new CAVE student is "Do not procrastinate. Focus on your work so you can get good grades."

Hazel is not sure what she wants to do after she graduates high school. She did state "I am so honored to be the CAVE Student of the Month!" Well done Hazel!
