Our CAVE staff nominated Lewis A. as our High School Student of the Month because he continues to work hard and improve himself in all of his classes. Lewis's teachers stated that they enjoy working with him.

Lewis lives up in the Northwoods and his favorite hobbies include hunting, fishing, model rockets, football and baseball.

When asked what you like best about being in CAVE, Lewis responded that he likes the flexibility of it. If you need to go somewhere, you can do your homework when you get back. There isn't a set time when you do school, as long as you do it!

Lewis's favorite class is History. His advice to other students interested in joining our CAVE program is to know that all of the information can be overwhelming at first, but if you do your best, it will all fall into place.

After high school, Lewis hops to earn a degree in Business and then one day take over his dad's furniture repair business.

When asked what he likes that is NEW in CAVE, Lewis responded that he likes the different opportunities to get involved. There are many different groups you can join. If you aren't interested in one, then keep looking because there are a lot of other to choose from.

Our CAVE staff nominated Olivia E. as our Middle School Student of the Month because she has made a very noticeable improvement since last year. She has been working hard, taking good notes, and is easy to work with.

Olivia likes to paint, playing music and calling friends. When asked what she likes to do after graduating high school, Olivia feels that is a long ways away and she hasn't decided on anything yet.

What Olivia likes most about our CAVE program is how teachers are willing to help her improve her learning. If she does poorly on an assignment, our CAVE teachers will help you do better and improve on what you did before.

Olivia's advice to new students coming into our CAVE program is for them to find a leaning program that is best for you. Last year she was all online and that did not work for her. However this year she does part online and part project based. Using books and things helped her improve her grades.
