Our CAVE staff nominated Carter S. as our High School Student of the Month because he is a very hard worker, he asks good questions and he keeps on top of his classes. He is a very solid student with a very bright future.

Obviously Carter love being outdoors hunting and fishing. That is what he likes to spend any of his free time doing.

Carter the flexibility to work on his classwork. He is able to schedule doing his classwork around times that work best for hunting and fishing.

Carter did mention thought that to be successful in our CAVE program students need to be self-motivated. It is a great program though for students that have a busy schedule.

Carter is uncertain at this time what he would like to do after high school. Probably keep doing what he is doing now.

Our CAVE staff nominated Emmalee A. as our Middle School Student of the Month because she impressed us by working ahead, taking a full load of classes, and excelling in them as well. She is even earning high school credit as a middle schooler by taking an advance class.

Emmalee has a lot of hobbies, but when asked she stated that she enjoys boxing, working out and going thrifting with her friends.

Emmalee's favorite thing about CAVE is that you can go at your own pace. He favorite class is Science and she loves the periodic table!

Some advice to students wanting to join our CAVE program, Emmalee stated to not overwhelm yourself immediately by trying to get too far ahead.

After high school, Emmalee plans to go to college for Psychology and work in the CPS to help better the system!
