Our CAVE staff nominated Cait (Caitriona) M. as our High School Student of the Month because she continues to do an exceptional job in her classes. She works hard, she asks good questions, she works ahead and she always has a smile on her face.

Crocheting, playing guitar, and watching movies are Cait's favorite hobbies.

What Cait likes about our CAVE program is how she feels having control over her learning. She enjoys her own processes to be successful with her education.

Cait's favorite class is definitely Physical Science. She feels that the class is very applicable and interesting. A close second though is the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Cait and her family really like the series and she feels that she is able to share a lot of interesting information with them. Cait also mentioned that she likes CAVE's PE class and how it has been updated and includes more learning options which makes it more interesting.

You should plan to on spending time daily to focus on your work. Working ahead can be pretty easy if you dedicate yourself to certain times and days away from distractions. Cait stated, "Everyone's processes are different and if one isn't working for you, it is okay to experiment and try something else!"

Cait is currently working at a convenient store and she is interested in moving up, potentially being a cook and food prep worker. After she graduates, she is interested in learning a variety of topics like photography, Foley artistry and guitar making.
