Our CAVE staff nominated Allison K. because she is on top of things. She is also easy to work with, she asks great questions and she likes to work ahead.

Allison's favorite classes are English and Math. Overall though, she likes school. She had been interested in being in a virtual program for a long time. She felt that much of her time at her old school was being wasted. She was extremely bored with how materials were presented in a regular school. She did not like when a teacher repeated a topic multiple times or when other students were goofing around in the classroom.

Allison enjoys the ability to create her own schedule and sticking with it. That is her advice to new CAVE students.

Right now Allison likes to work at an accelerated pace and hopes to graduate early. She also likes the fact that because she has worked ahead that she has more time for things that she wants to do. She also likes the fact that she can put more time and energy into subjects that she is interested in if she wants to.

Our CAVE staff nominated Eliana S. as our Middle School Student of the Month because she works so hard and she has a positive attitude. Eliana has improved a lot this year and we are proud of her efforts.

Eliana has many talents. She likes to play guitar, swim and cook. Eliana's favorite class is History, because Mrs. Ranis is an amazing teacher. Eliana stated that, "she always helps me and other students."

Eliana likes CAVE because if you have to go on vacation, you can still do your work. Her advice to other students is to stay on top of your work and have a set schedule. Also, ask for help when you need it.

After high school, Eliana would like to be an architect.
